I have some big projects this sessions. Here's one of them.

As an end of term project, I'm doing a 15 min documentary on old people's sexuality. This afternoon I have my first interview with an old lady who lives in a centre near where I live. I've met her twice, she talked about everything already. I know what she's going to say, but it's our first interview so I'm really stressed. We have three main aspects to our Documentary. 1) How other people see elderly sexuality. (We want to break the belief that grand-parents do not have sex) 2) The changes the way society see sexuality in general 3) And the problems that can occur with an older body, both physically and mentally.

We'll have two more elderly person to interview plus a biologist and a clerk in a sex-shop.
Anyways. I'm looking forward to Christmas. When it's all over and I'll be able to watch TV, and read and do nothing at all.

That project sounds really cool. I remember my sister at age thirteen or so expressing shock and disbelief that our parents (then 32 and 40) still had sex. My mother rolled her eyes and pointed out that our grandparents (both 67) probably still had sex. She then hailed my mémère who was cooking breakfast.

"Eh, Ma? You and Dad still have sex, right?"

And my little, hunched mémère, without even batting an eye or halting in her scrambling of the eggs, made a little 'comme-ci comme-ca' gesture and said, "Enh, des fois."

My sister was properly horrified, but it remains one of my fondest memories of my mémère. A model, devout Catholic, she had no qualms not only telling her children and grandchildren that she still had sex, but insinuating that it wasn't as much sex as she would have liked. :-D

Ha! That's an awesome story!
The lady we interviewed yesterday (73!) was really open about it. I don't think she told us everything, but it's understandable! :p She was really nice.
