Like You have to look where your walking and be careful they could fall on you in an avalanche of awesomness. It's worst then in Flourish & Blotts. No joke.

I'll definitely go back there someday and buy some useful books. If I can find them. I'm not sure there's a system. All the Harlequin's where at the same place though and the Psychology book was with other psychology book. There might be hope.

Except that I had a nice trip. I came back 2 weeks ago after 4 weeks in Thailand and one week in Laos. It was great and I want to go back. Mostly I want to go back to Pattaya to do a documentary about the city. It's a fascinating city. Full of prostitute, russian tourists and ladyboys. I don't know. My curiosity went beserk and I want to know more about all the different kinds of people that inhabit this city. A french guy that was really nice and sort of our unnofficial guide while there started a website: http://pattaya-az.com/
I went back to work. It's ok. It's fun and it pays well. It's just a lot of hours. WHAT IS THIS THING CALLED FULL TIME? I DON'T LIKE YOU. But it also means lots of money. I like money. Mmmhmmm money. And maybe with that money I can work on the documentary? Who knows.
I also decided to use youtube more. Because I do stuff. I do videos and I don't want them to die on my hard drive where no one ever lays eye on them. So here, you can see an animation I did for a play last October.
I'll upload the 4 other animations another day. AND some short clips from my travel.

This year's Otakuthon was a big success and I think that everyone did a great job. All of the staff that I got to meet where really nice and knew how to work.
I had so much fun. It was a great con and beeing your volunteer was really fun. And not so demanding!
AND! I have a cool T-shirt!

Plus I had a lot of fun hanging out with Hiruko.

I finished my animations, but I still have to do some editing. I have to finish som very important stuff for tomorrow. I don't want to.

(My smoke alarm just went off because I forgot something on the oven to come type this. My chicken now has a nice burnt crust.)
Back to Life in a Day. I went to the Marché aux Puces de Saint-Eustache this morning so there's definitely something to do with that. I bought some cool shades for 1 dollar! :)

And hopefully I can catch up on some work tonight. If you see me on the internetz feel free to give me a good kick.

I have to work! I'm really busy and I keep procrastinating. Someone tell me to stop reading and watching.
I have AC in my room so hopefully I can work without my computer hating me.
I need a shower.
I accepted another benevolat contract. We'll see how that goes. I haven't even finished editing the wedding I filmed a few months ago. :( I'm a bad friend!!!
And with that I'll gocry in a corner, die, work. (I don't have time for those other two! :p
Over all. I'm good! And everything is fine and I'll get trough this summer and then we'll see.

In other news: I worked a little bit today, but not enough. At least it's a first step.
I don't like hockey. I just don't get it. And I hate hockey "fever". It's annoying.
Tomorrow I'll see some friends I haven't seen in a while for the wedding! I haven't seen the bride in almost 2 years. I can't wait to see her! They're getting the room ready and I have some set-ups to do for the filming. Yay! Weddings! One day, I'm gonna have a big wedding too. :)

May. 19th, 2010 07:31 pmI've been procrastinating for three days now. Well mostly. I did go out and buy what I needed but then it just stayed in a "neat" pile in my room. Pfff terrible.
I have a wedding this week end. The second of three this year.
What should I watch to keep me company while I work tomorrow? Preferably something I have already seen so I don't get distracted too much? I'm thinking either Wonderfalls or Buffy. Season 7 maybe, since it's one of the few I haven't seen 1 million time.

The thing is that I don't work on it enough and I think about it too much. I need to balance those two.
I decided to put firefly in my DVD to keep me company while I was working. Guess what! I ended up having a Firefly marathon instead.
I need to set up my room to work more efficiently. And I need to be sure I know how to and can do what I'm asked to do.
OK. I'll go cut paper or something now.

You can all be proud of me. I finally made the final move to Dreamwidth. After having an empty journal for almost a year it now has everything. Next step? Waiting until my LJ paid account expires and buy one here! XD
This is my first official post from this shiny new place! Three weeks for Dreamwidth Was a good idea because it's what gave me the final kick in the butt! Sadly it doesn't mean that I have any more idea to what to post. But here's somenot-so-interesting insights.
I always forget my toasts in the toaster. Then by the time I get to it/remember, I've just finished my coffee and I'm not hungry anymore.
I'm suppose to be working. I've been hired to do some stop motion animations that will be integrated in the story. It's all good and stuff but I feel like I'm not as good as they hopped for. I'm procrastinating. Procrastination. I love that video! :)
