You mentioned you may be interested in helping out, specifically tracking down authors, and pimping the site like hell. :)

Well, instead of spamming everyone on my flist with this stuff, I made a community instead. It's very much a free-for-all - anyone who's interested in either helping or just wants to keep up with the progress of the archive is welcome to join and post. This project is just getting started, and I would LOVE to get as much input from as many different people as possible.
